Super soft
Choose for a pillow case from Return to Sender, that is woven in a small weavery in the mountain villages in Ecuador. Through coöperation with Plan International Nederland a part of the income goes to professional education in developing countries, especially for young women. The pillow cases are very soft because they are made from merino wool.

Silky
The plaids by Alpaca Loca are also made in Ecuador. The wool is shaved off of the alpacas, completely animal-friendly, when their fur gets to warm for the summer. In the mountain villages the hard working women weave the plaids, under good working conditions. Alpaca wool makes the plaids softer than silk and warmer than sheep wool. The wool naturally appears in 52 colours, so not a lot of recolouring is necessary.
